I’m waiting to be rescued, laboring over a miracle.

Someday, those walls will rise.

Of all words, my mouth is locked.

A fire gathers in your stomach, watching the flames burn out.

Again and again, it’s coming for me.

Or this prison will rot until I’m greeted by the sun.
