Pillow for Three by Devin Pavlischak/ December 13th, 2015 ©

I came in a hurry, sheltering my only bag.

Carrying me a great distance, across plains and fields.

An empty motel room, perhaps I’m out of my mind.

Somehow decent, I wished for a better living.

The tragedy is mine, being a college graduate.

It could of been my life, though it was too phony in a sense.

It doesn’t matter now, sharing a pillow for three.
